Returns On Hazardous Materials
Some of the products we sell — primarily spa and pool chemicals — are classified as hazardous materials by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). These items can't be returned to us by mail, even though we'd like to make returns easy on every product. This page explains why the rule exists, what's covered, and what your options are if you have unopened chemicals you no longer need.
The short version: We can't accept hazmat returns by mail (federal regulations prohibit it), but we can accept them in person at our Idaho Falls, Boise, or Twin Falls showrooms. If a product arrived damaged or defective, that's handled differently — call us right away and we'll work with the manufacturer on a replacement or refund.

Directions
- Always add with pump and filter running to ensure complete mixing and good circulation. GLB Shoxidizer is completely soluble and dissolves quickly, so no mixing is required. Broadcast GLB Shoxidizer uniformly over the surface of the water, adding about two thirds of the total dose into the deep end of the pool. Apply product when swimming pool is not in use. Swimming may resume as soon as 15 minutes after product application, provided the chlorine residual concentration in the pool is between 1 and 3 ppm. Reentry is prohibited above the levels of 3 ppm chloine due to risk of bodily injury.
- For Pools with moderate daily use, add GLB Shoxidizer weekly at a dose of 1 pound per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Each pound of GLB Shoxidizer will raise the free chlorine concentration of 1 ppm in 10,000 gallons of pool water. More frequent and/or heavy doses may be required druing periods of heavy use or following heavy rains or high winds.
- For pool opening and pool closing applications, add GLLB Shoxidizer at a dose of 2 lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water. This dose will provide sufficient oxidizer to eliminate most of the comtaminants that accumulate in pool water, and will immediately raise the free chlorine by 2ppm in 10,000 gallons of pool water.
