Common Issues We Diagnose in Boise
Hot tub not heating in winter
Common causes: tripped GFCI breaker, dirty or clogged filters, low water level, failed heater element, faulty high-limit switch, or failing circulation pump. We diagnose and repair heating issues throughout the Treasure Valley.
Gas fireplace pilot won't stay lit
Usually a worn thermocouple or thermopile, a clogged pilot orifice, or a draft issue at the venting. Common after summer dormancy, especially in homes with infrequently-used fireplaces — book annual service before the heating season starts.
Pellet stove not feeding pellets correctly
Usually an auger jam, a worn auger motor, a blown igniter, or a fouled combustion fan. Heavy pellet stove use through East Idaho winters means annual cleaning is essential — most issues we see in February and March trace back to skipped fall maintenance.
Hot tub error code on the topside panel
Error codes vary by manufacturer (Hot Spring, Caldera, Sundance, etc.) but most indicate a flow, temperature, or sensor issue. Have the model and the exact code ready when you call — we can often diagnose remotely before sending a tech.
